Kate Shanasy is an Australian photographer working seasonally between her coastal home in Blairgowrie, Melbourne, and across London and Europe. She’s currently based in London, leading content creation for Broadsheet’s new London launch.
An intuitive creative known for her slightly undone curation, Kate explored writing and videography before honing her craft in photography. Those early disciplines still influence her work and deepen her storytelling, often evoking a sense of adventure and natural spontaneity. The result is crisp, candid and romantic imagery that richly captures a moment — or a brief — for local clients, global brands tickled-pink newlyweds.
Kate is a longtime anchor contributor with Broadsheet and her work has appeared on The Design Files, QANTAS Travel Insider, Intrepid, Harper’s Bazaar, Gourmet Traveller and the front covers of Houses Magazine and Domain Review. Kate works closely with the National Gallery of Victoria and is globally represented by LA-based gallery House of Spoils and locally by Coastal Living with her popular DUNES series on the Mornington Peninsula.
Visit her online shop and find her latest print series, Lemon Delight / delizia al limone flush with the sorbetto hues of the Italian coastline.
